it’s that thing you’re waiting for, but not too desperately! it’s time for…
~Post Session Summary~
Session 3: Down Applestock Rd. 25/1/13
great session again guys! this week i randomized the 4 encounters you did have from a probability table, modifying them to fit the situation. i tried to do a lot more non-combat encounters by tossing in some RP opportunities and some of you, especially Ben and Sean took full advantage of these. unfortunately, i wasnt able to hit you with any puzzles or traps or other challenges. how did you like it? more or less RP and do you want to see traps and puzzles in future? as always, time is an unforgiving bitch and so the adventure was cut short. combat also burns through much of our time but that’s the thing we have to grin and bear with such a large group. Amber did fantastic for her first session and I hope she’ll come further out of her shell next session. on a side note, as i mentioned to Sean, i’m more than happy to have guest DMs if you want to build a dungeon or a side quest for a session. doesn’t even have to relate to the story and can have different characters. want to premake a party of gnome bards going on tour, a family of bugbears on the hunt or even some goblins on a spiritual pilgrimage. either way, shoot me a message and we’ll see if we can’t work something.
After conversing in the tavern, joining up with an amulet and a wandering druid named Ashe, the party had a nice long rest in and around the tavern.
Upon waking, they visited a strange gnome on the outskirts of town who lived in a shack full of talking objects that shouldn’t normally talk in hopes of learning information, the party decided he was useless to their adventure and departed quickly.
The party made their way to the one of the only exits of apple stock, a sheer cliff face with very little to aid in climbing, after many stumbles and falls the party somehow made it out of the strange apple-obsessed village before turning left at the nearby fork.
The party then went on to aid some very ungrateful goblin sailors in their fight against bugbears, followed by a small pack of wolves. After hitting another fork, the party turned left again and decided to make camp while Olaf and Dave scouted ahead.
They silently crept through the bushes trying to avoid wildlife and saw 2 lanterns and half a dozen bandits come around a bend, the 4 without lanterns moving quite strangely, they both ran back to the camp to warn the group but before they could do anything substantial they had strange bottles shot at them that smashed and spewed a toxic green gas that despite their best efforts knocked them all unconscious.
Late the next day, Olaf wakes up alone in the thick grass, mouth filled with dirt and woozily he looks around, he is lost.

Luke Preer & Anastasia Hall-Boyd, you are both away from the party and thus did not get knocked out by Scarlets. either I can chuck you into the start of the session with the majority of the party or you can do a quick session of you finding Olaf face down in the mud and you guys can party up separately :3
in regards to Michael Simmons, let me know if you’d really not prefer to be seperated from the party at this point and i’ll be happy to change it :P
